Delashmutt Leads Mesa Men

The 2010 Cactus Thaw showcases some of the finest golf in the ACCAC and across the nation.

The 2010 event was no different and Mesa Golf was right in the thick of it.  The men's team took 4th place in the 2010 event. 

Head Coach John Guerrero is pleased with the play of all of his golfers and looks forward to big things on the men's side in 2010. 

Eddie Delashmutt led the Mesa men, finishing 7th overall with a +1 golfing rounds of 71 and 72.

Kevin Witte finished tied for 11th for the T'Birds with rounds of 74 and 70 (+2).

Gavin Kwon took 16th overall with rounds of 72 and 73 (+3).

Ryan Mahoney came in with rounds of 78 and 71 (+6) for a tie at 28th.

Craig Clifford rounded out Mesa's contestants with rounds of 85 and 80. 

The Silver City Golf Course played a Par 71 at 6,419 yards.

Silver City, New Mexico in mid-February is usually a crap shoot regarding weather, but Mother Nature cooperated this year.
