He hopes his men's squad didn't didn't use up all of their offensive firepower Wednesday night, October 7 at home against rival Glendale.
With the 5-2 win, Mesa is now 6-7-1 on the season and in contention for a playoff spot in the region. The Thunderbirds have six regular season games left prior to the Region I Tournament starting on October 26.
Abel Corral got things going in the 29th minute. Travis Brown added a goal in the 51st minute. Leland Hildebrand scored in the 57th minute.
Coach Drew knows his team must leapfrog AZ Western and Scottsdale if they hope to grab a playoff berth. Lucky for them, Scottsdale visits Mesa on October 14, so there is a chance to make an impact directly.

The team has a mentality where they know every game is crucial. They know they need to go out and win every game from here on out. Tonight was a great start.
The Thunderbirds travel to PVCC on Saturday, October 10 for a 2:30 p.m. start. The next home contest is next Wednesday, October 14 versus aforementioned Scottsdale.
