New T'Bird coach invited to speak Friday, January 6, 2012
Mesa Thunderbirds new head softball coach Wayne Hill is no stranger to the Glen Moore Softball Coaches Clinic, but for the past six years he's been assisting in the player clinics.
"When Coach Lumley (Mark Lumley, #1 Assistant Coach under Baylor Head Coach Glen Moore) asked me to be a speaker/ presenter, I was extremely honored," says Hill.
Coach Hill met Coach Lumley seven years ago at a FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Conference in Flagstaff, Arizona and the two have remained close since.

The clinic is this Friday, January 6, 2012 on the campus of Baylor University in Waco, Texas and includes experts in the field of baseball and softball including John Tschida, Tim Lanier, and Tim Timmons, just to name a few.
The cost of the clinic is $75.00 for early registration and $85.00 for those registering the day of the clinic.
Coach Hill has been heavily involved in the FCA over the years and has offered his services to those Mesa Community College student-athletes looking to gather in fellowship in his tiny office on the campus of MCC.
Student-athletes from all sports have shown interest and have sought out Coach Hill and his efforts and have not gone unnoticed.
