  MESA, AZ - Powerful, Division I, Central Arizona had it all working Saturday in blanking Mesa, 13-0 and 12-0.

  The Vaqueros are 10-1 overall and 4-0 in ACCAC play and showed why they are one of the top Division I teams in the nation.

  They used a nine-run fifth inning to blow open the contest in game one and then scored all 12 runs early to win game two.

  The first game was a five-inning no-hitter for pitcher Mikayla Austin. Shinya Henry, pictured right, (Fr., Tuba City, AZ/Tuba City H.S.)  and Kendra Whalen (Fr., Flagstaff, AZ/Coconino H.S.) each had singles in the second contest.

  MCC remains in Division I competition when it travels to Eastern Arizona Tuesday for a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader.
