Volleyballers Helping Out In The Community

Coach Salinas and her 2009 Volleyball Program is doing their part to make themselves visible in the community.  Three of her players will assist in a fundamentals clinic at Kino Junior High School. 

Kino volleyball coach Allison Miller will utilize the talents of Mesa CC volleyball players to show younger players the finer points of fundamental volleyball.

"We are trying to help local kids learn the game and get out in the community by sharing our love of the game with youngsters," says the fourth-year Coach Salinas. 

The next clinic is scheduled for Saturday, September 19 at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.  Mesa volleyball players involved include Kyleen Svoboda, Bethany Dickey, Codi Sichling, Lauren Kay, Cindy Jones and Jenna Prescott.
